About

Dr. Virginia “Ginny” Mennemeyer’s career began with her mentor, Dr. Sam Winkelmann, in Katy, Texas. In 1999, she moved back to her hometown of Troy, Missouri, to open her private practice. Dr. Mennemeyer is currently a member of The Greater Saint Louis Dental Society and the American Dental Association. She serves as Missouri’s Director for the Midwest Society of Orthodontists (MSO) and served as the 2016-2017 President. For several years, Dr. Mennemeyer has served as the MSO delegate for the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), where she and other professionals meet annually to delegate for the AAO. Locally, she is a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce and a member of the St. Mary’s Parish in Hawk Point, Missouri. Dr. Mennemeyer is celebrating more than 20 years of creating beautiful smiles and building confidence in her patients’ lives.

Dr. Mennemeyer enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with family and friends. She is a Troy Buchanan Alum and enjoys supporting the Trojans. She’s also a dedicated fan of Missouri Tiger football and Cardinals baseball.

Her husband, Doyle Justus, was also raised in Troy, Missouri. He graduated from the Missouri University-Columbia with a degree in agricultural education. He is a retired Agriculture/FFA (Future Farmers of America) advisor at Troy Buchanan High School. Together, they have two children, James and Grace.

Education

Dr. Virginia Mennemeyer received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1995 at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. In June of 1997, Dr. Mennemeyer graduated from the orthodontic residency program at the same prestigious institute.
